An S Pass is a work pass that allows foreign mid-skilled individuals to work and stay in Singapore for two years, with the option to renew for up to three years. To qualify for an S Pass, employees must have a fixed monthly salary of at least $3,150. Younger workers have better chances of getting an S Pass, and older applicants need to have superior skills and a higher salary. 

The employer must file the application for the S Pass, with assistance from an MOM Service Provider or registered Manpower Agency. The application will only be processed after the employer signs a contract with the applicant.
